Genetic Markers show Diversity, Population Structure, and Functional Basis Of Cultivated NA Cannabis

A recent study by scientists from PBG BioPharma and Egret Bioscience have classified 420 cannabis accessions into five clusters (K1-K4 resin type cannabis and K5 hemp) using 23 highly informative and polymorphic SNP (Single Nucleotide Polymorphism) markers associated with important traits such as cannabinoid and terpenoids expression as well as fiber and resin production.
