Plant-derived CBD is added to cosmetics guidelines as legal ingredient by EU market regulator

After being ruled that CBD is not a narcotic and can be freely traded on EU market by the European Union’s high court at the end of 2020 [1], CBD, derived from extract or tincture or resin of cannabis, has been added to the cosmetics guidelines as a legal ingredient in cosmetics with the function of anti-sebum, antioxidant, skin conditioning, and skin protecting [2].
