A two-year open label study showed that plant-derived purified CBD reduced both seizure frequency and severity in 169 children and adults with treatment-resistant epilepsy. In addition, CBD was generally well tolerated, with only a minority of participants experiencing adverse events and stopping the CBD treatment.
